Food for soul- Collection of hymns 2 (Navagraha stotra)

This hymn is written by Shri Vedvyas( Krishnadvaimpayana) in praise of the nine grahas/planets.
Japa-kusuma sankasham; kashyapeya mahadyutim;
tamorim sarva papaghnum, praNto asmi divakaram
One whose color matches to that of a red hibiscus; the son of Kasyapa; a great electrifier, destroyer of sins ,I pay my obeisance to such Sun god.( 1)
Dadhi shankha tusharabham; kshirodarNava sambhavam;

Sanskrit has an ocean of shlokas, shubhashitas which give us valuable guidance in life. There are a few hymns/stotras which have always enlightened me , which I’d like to pen down and share the same.

First one is the morning prayer-which we’re supposed to say it after waking up., thus it goes:
