The Googley world

Frankly tell me, how many of us aren’t addicted to google search or ‘Googling’ as its popularly known? You’ll find that most of us use google every now and then for searching anything on internet and I must say its THE BEST search engine even though there are other popular search engines in the internet market.

Apart from search engine, if you’re in the US you’ll certainly use Google to get directions using Google map – this has made my life sO easy; The GPS units too are popular but with G-map u can trust to find it!

Google also has acquired You-tube in 2006 so then now we’re thinking: what next?!

With one gmail id you can access google documents,spreadsheet, reader,library,calendar

Other services are : Dodge ball-a social networking site for mobile users. Feed burner-news feed management service. i-Google-customizable homepage. Google Desktop-application for customizing desktop.

Some of the other popular services are Orkut-social network of friends (I was very much addicted to it, once )

Page creator-webpage publishing program. Picassa album-Photo uploading and sharing site.

Is also in advertising with Adsense,addwords, Click to call-calling systems for users to advertise for free at google’s expense from search result page!!

Google checkout-online payment processing service for simplifying the process of online payment.

Groups

Web and e-mail discussion service and Usenet archive. Users can join a group, make a group, publish posts, track their favorite topics, write a set of group web pages updatable by members and share group files. In January, 2007, version 3 of Google Groups was released. New features include the ability to create customised pages and share files.

Image Labeler
