Thought for the day-how to be healthy?

There are a couple of shubhashitas that tell us about how to be healthy…

Parishramo meetaahara: bheshaje sulabhe mama
Nityamte sevamanasya vyadhirbhyo nasti me bhayam

Exercise and eat well balanced food in small quantities-this is a readily available medicine,if you do these daily without fail and stick to the same, you wont be afraid of any ailments.

Another one…this one’s more specific on what should be eaten and when:

Bhojanante pibett tatram dinante cha pibett paya:
nishante cha pibett vaari kim vaidyena prayojanam?

Eating yogurt at the end of meal(dinner,specifically) and drinking milk before going to bed. when you get up in the morning, the first thing to be done, is to drink water-If you follow all these things regularly then why do you need a doctor??
